Each rower gets a no-cost consultation. We’ll spend 30 minutes auditing your training history, past injuries, current lifestyle, and future goals. Understanding your full picture as an athlete is the only way for me to customize your coaching experience, so you can start shaping the results you seek.
Time to create your personalized 4-week training cycle, based on your video analysis and data. You’ll receive a clear, well-structured game-plan that covers workouts specifically for rowers, core stability training, strength and conditioning, and mobility exercises. All topped off with bespoke drills to hone your technique and performance as a unique rower.
I’ll be right here on the other side of the app, reviewing your training data day in and day out. After each session, I’ll promptly share feedback as soon as I can, highlighting where you’re making progress and where to keep focusing your attention for improvement. It’s this kind of daily interaction that keeps rowers on-track towards their goals.
After our consultation, I’ll guide you through onboarding. I’ll gather key performance benchmarks like peak power watts, training history, injury background, and results from 3-minute and 12-minute tests. I’ll also look at your current weekly schedule and equipment access, so I can develop a custom training plan specifically for you.
You can use my mobile app, "Coach Bergenroth", to film and submit a recording of you rowing. This way, I can provide detailed technical analysis no matter where you are in the world. I’ll examine both your force application and stroke mechanics, sharing comprehensive feedback and advice for targeted drills. Optionally, we can also delve deeper into your fitness goals and the mindset side of it all, through Athletic Psychology Self-Reflection and 3D Life Fitness Diagnostics. This is the best way to get the most out of plan personalization.
You’ll receive your personalized training plan through my convenient web-based coaching system, which you can take anywhere with the “Coach Bergenroth” app in your pocket. Log-in to view your workouts, share feedback, and receive daily updates on-the-move. The platform also syncs with your Concept2 PM5 monitor automatically, so any workout data you upload will be sent straight my way.
The best part about my training plans is that they’re not set in stone. They’re more like water, able to change and flow as your life does. Whether your academic schedule, work commitments, or location shifts, I’ll be right here to adjust your workouts as needed.
