Coach Bergenroth – Online Rowing Coach

Thank You To My YouTube Subscribers

A big day on my @youtube channel, reaching 5000 subscribers!

I started the channel after retiring from my position as Head Coach of the Tulsa Youth Rowing Association.

At that point, I wasn’t sure what my future in rowing was going to be after a couple of heart surgeries.

I decided to start the channel and website to provide a resource for people first starting out in rowing, and coaches that were new to that role.

For these reasons, and my own personal reason of needing to create a way to stay connected with rowing, it seemed like a good way to engage in those processes.

During the last seven years, I’ve done my best to bring value content to my subscriber base. It helped in November of 2022, when the New York Times interviewed me for an article about beginning rowing and the piece linked to my channel.

I wasn’t expecting to get this many subscribers and I realize this isn’t a huge number compared to some, but it feels like an accomplishment to me in the rowing world.

My thanks and gratitude to all of my subscribers. I’ll work to put out new content as I am able.
