In this video I demonstrate various approaches to force application in the rowing stroke. I discuss an initial explosive beginning of the drive and a stroke with a more patient beginning and a surge through to the end of the drive. I also demonstrate my upcoming app Remote Rowing Coach to help visualize this force application through the force curve functionality in the app. There is a lot of value here to help you learn how to create the most speed be that in a boat or on a rowing machine.
